Approach to Healthcare
For more than 60 years we have been designing, engineering, and manufacturing dispensing solutions for hand hygiene – primarily for the healthcare and other hygiene sensitive markets. In the 1960s, Hermann Ophardt produced the first ingo-man® hand hygiene dispenser in his garage. Today, our portfolio includes countless hand hygiene products for infection prevention. In addition to dispensers and pumps, we also offer useful accessories to enable hand hygiene at the point of care. We have also been offering digital hand hygiene monitoring systems for over a decade. These consist of hardware dispensers and powerful Kanary® software to improve the hand hygiene behaviour of hospital staff and the hygiene infrastructure.

Innovation
We are a driver of innovation in the field of hand hygiene for more than 60 year’s. Over 500 patents registered in the field of dispenser systems and pump technology are proof of our innovative strength. Our latest product development is the introduction of our Smart From The Start concept. The idea behind this is that we are gradually equipping every touchless hygiene dispenser with intelligence so that digital functions such as fill level detection can be conveniently activated at any time via our Kanary® app.
Future Direction
In the future, we will continue to place a significant focus on digitalization. We are already supporting the expansion of digital hygiene solutions in clinics and hospitals with our Kanary® hygiene software and our smart hygiene dispensers. With the introduction of our Smart From The Start concept last year, we have already laid an important building block for future developments in the area of digitalization.
