Denpro is pioneering circular economy practices within the healthcare sector. In collaboration with NHS trusts, we have trialled an innovative initiative to collect and repurpose infectious plastic waste, including used PPE from hospitals. Through a controlled sterilisation and regrind process, this material is transformed into new products, significantly reducing landfill and supporting sustainable resource use. Leveraging our sister brand Denman, the recycled material has been successfully repurposed into hairbrushes and curtain hooks for hospital use. This closed-loop model reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility, product innovation, and the development of practical, sustainable solutions that benefit both healthcare and the planet.
