Case Scenario: Managing an Active TB Case within Mental Health Services

This presentation will feature a case scenario of caring for an active TB case within inpatient and community mental health services. It will highlight the difficulties that professionals were presented with, and the key challenges that were faced by professionals and the service user when managing the risks of TB.

Key findings of a learning review will be shared, which will provide the opportunity to share and learn from one another to ensure better patient safety outcomes and safer systems of working for staff.
